Davin lives on a small property on the Mornington Peninsula with his wife and 3 kids, dog, cat and chooks. He hopes to hang up the tools one day soon and morph from builder/landscaper and into full time author.
With time at a premium, he is currently working (planning/ruminating) on the companion novel to The Morton Smuggler - provisionally titled Of One Blood.

Fifteen years ago Davin rented a small apartment in Essaouira, Morocco, and started to write. He had no plan, and it showed. After five months he packed up his laptop and small bag of clothes and returned to the real world.
The manuscript, with promise but with no direction, would not be looked at for another 14 years. Ideas had crystallised over this dormant period and the manuscript was duly edited and finished off in a flurry of clarity - that only time could create.
It stands before the world now as The Morton Smuggler - and is available in paperback, ebook and audiobook.
